Forest Postman

A quiet puzzle about getting the mail through.
Lay the planks. Walk them. Pull them up. Lay them again.

The round, from one bank to the other

1

Lay a plank

A hedgehog with a handcart has letters to deliver and a pond in the way. Tap a board from the roll and tap where it goes, or drag it straight onto the water. It snaps to the grid and turns to meet the bridge it joins — straight boards carry a run, curved ones take the corner.

2

Walk it

When the route joins up, the postman sets off along the boards you laid, stopping at each door to hand over a letter. Nothing is timed. You can stand and watch, or start planning the next leg.

Take the planks back

The bag is small on purpose. Once he has crossed, the boards behind him are yours again — collect one, or sweep up the lot, and build ahead. A round is rarely about having enough wood. It is about using the same wood twice.

Two chapters, twenty-four rounds

Chapter one · 12 rounds

Rainy Wetland

A still pond ringed with reeds and lily pads. Twelve rounds of learning how the boards behave, and how far a small bag of them really goes.

Chapter two · 12 rounds

Rising Creek

The same planks, taken to running water and stone. Twelve more that ask you to see the whole route before you put down the first board.

Finish every round in a chapter and its keepsake card is stamped into your album — a bound book you can leaf through, one page per chapter.
